I was 17 at the time. We had no clue what type of bar this was. Greg walked in with his acoustic guitar strapped to his shoulders, and it seemed as though the record scratched as we entered because everybody in the bar looked at us with what looked like a mouth full of rat feces. The metal-heads and bikers were not amused with whatever vibe we were giving off. Needless to say, they didn't even stick around for the first song.
